Finally, wheelchairs built for you

One of our biggest goals with developing the FLUX Slim-Line chair was to make the lives of all of our users easier. There’s so much to adjust in the world around you as you adjust to life in a wheelchair and sometimes that adjustment proves challenging. That’s why it means so much to us when our users write to us to let us know the ways the FLUX has simplified their life. Though they can’t adjust the world around them, they’re able to adjust how they maneuver the world in the FLUX and we’re so happy to help.

From seemingly simple things like “no more banging my knuckles on doorways” because of the streamline design to “[in his old chair] my dad was so tall he had to hunch over to push”, there’s no question we’re making an impact on our users’ lives. While it seems there’s no real way to quantify that, we’re definitely going to try! In fact, we’re shooting for the stars and setting a goal to change 10,000 Lives with the FLUX! We’re already starting to share stories of lives changed on our social media channels, so make sure to follow us on Facebook and Twitter and search the hashtag #10KLives. “My wife bought the Slim-Line for me when I was in the hospital, recovering from a stroke. She had it ready for me when I finally came home but I resisted using it. I guess I didn’t really “get it.” Once I watched the demonstration video on the internet, I “got it.” I am sitting in my Slim-Line as I write this review and I really like it!!!
